EASTER BUNNY GUMBALL MACHINE

Found these Gumball Machines at the Dollar Store. These are great just from the box; yet I like to personalize them for the celebration. You can change it  up anyway you like. Unfortunately with the hot glue and small materials used, this project is recommended to be done by/for young adults. Great prize for the Candy Guessing Game.

Supplies:

• Hot glue & Hot Glue Gun
• Scissors
• Gumball Machine (comes in multi colors)
• colored foam (2mm thick, color to match body of gumball machine)
• white foam (2 mm thick)
• straw hat
• 3 white pipe cleaners
• 2" white pom pom
• 2-.75" pink pom poms
• 2-20mm googly eyes
• decorative ribbon

Directions:

1. Cut out 2 (about 4") ear shapes with the colored foam.
2. Cut out 2 (about 2.5") ear shapes with the white foam.
3. Glue the white foam onto the colored foam.
4. Cut slits into the side of the hat (a bit closer to the front).
5. Pull the ears through the slits, making sure the white foam is in front.
6. Glue inside the hat the ears to keep in place.
7. Take 3 pipe cleaners. Cut in 5 or 6" strips.
8. Cross 2 pipe cleaners in the middle of the gumball machine. Glue them into a X shape flattened out.
9. Take the last pipe cleaner and glue it in the middle of the X shape.
10. Take the large white pom pom and twist in half.
11. Glue the pink pom poms on the top & bottom of the twist of the large pom pom.
12. Glue the nose in the middle of the pipe cleaners.
13. Glue pair of eyes above the nose.
14. Glue on the hat to the globe.
15. Decorate by gluing bows &/or ribbon. Embellish with adding hair, glasses, or other accessories.
