EASTER PLASTIC BUNNY SPOONS

These are very cute decorations. You can line them in a flower bed. Tape them to the posts of porch railing. It's very nice to get a plant with the spoons nestled in the dirt. Adding a Lollipop in the back, makes a great treat for any child. I love to use these for school parties. Adds more to the Egg Hunt. Remember that these are cute to see; but they do contain small materials that can come off. Please keep away from babies or infants. Unfortunately with the hot glue and small materials used, this project is recommended to be done by older children and supervised by an adult.

Supplies:

Hot glue & Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
plastic spoon
2 mm colored foam
stamen (found in Floral section)
7 mm pom pom (nose)
10 mm googly eyes
ribbon
accessories: Miniature bows, flowers, hair, glasses,...

Directions:

1. Cut out set of ears (about 2 in.).
2. Glue ears on the inside of spoon.
3. On the bottom of spoon (middle) glue 2 stamen in a flattened X shape.
4. Glue nose on middle where stamen cross.
5. Half way from the nose and top of spoon, glue pair of eyes.
6. Tie ribbon to spoon.

* You can just use white plastic spoons (easier to find and cost less) and add color with the foam ears and ribbon.
* You could use fabric ribbon. The ribbon I used was gift wrapping ribbon. Curling the ends makes a different look.

Supplies to make game:

tape
marker (orange color works great)
bunny spoons without ribbon attached (as many as have children)
ribbon
sucker candies (1 for every spoon)
Styrofoam tray
prizes

1. Pick out sucker (as many prizes you want to give out - I like to have 2) and color bottom of the stick.

2. Place a sucker on the cradle of the spoon.
3. Tape the stick close to the bottom.
4. Apply ribbon around lollipop and tie in front.

5. Put all Bunny Spoons in a Styrofoam tray.

How to play game:

1. Have everyone pick a Bunny Spoon. These will be their little treat to keep.
2. Have everyone look at the bottom of the Lollipop stick.
3. Award the winners with the colored sticks.

Enjoy this game. Have fun.
