EASTER HOT EGG GAME (HOT POTATO)

This game is a version of Hot Potato where the players pass around a hot potato fresh out of the oven. This is a very fast-paced and high-pressure game. Also you need to have room for the players to run around. Even with a few players, everyone will have tons of fun.

Supplies:
music
Directions:
1. Record short snatches of music. Let music play for 60 to 150 seconds with 8 seconds in between (You can find music to play for Musical Chairs).
* This game can also be played without music. The designated leader shouts out "hot". I like better to use the music. It makes it seem more fair.

2. Inflate the egg ornament.
3. Have all the children form a circle.
4. While the music is playing, the players pass the egg around.
5. When the music stops, the player holding the egg is out.
6. The game resumes till 1 player is left. That person is the winner and gets the prize.

* For the Easter theme, I like to use the inflatable egg (bought at the Dollar Store). You can use any ball available.
* The game can be played indoors or outdoors. If indoors, you must make sure there are no obstacles in the way.
* If there is nothing in the middle to run around, the players tend to run across to each other. I like to have the children who were out to sit in the middle.

Enjoy this game. Have fun.
